Job summary

ANNA'S BRICKS AND BLOCKS LAYING PTY LTD in Westminster, Western Australia, is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join the team and deliver quality brickwork across residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include laying bricks and blocks to plans, mixing mortar, and reading plans while maintaining safety and quality standards on site. 1–2 years' experience preferred; Certificate III required. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Bricklayer.
• Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of performing manual construction work.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare and mix mortar and other bonding materials.
• Set out brickwork, measure areas, and ensure correct alignment, levels, and spacing.
• Construct walls, partitions, arches, and other brick or block structures.
• Cut and shape bricks and blocks using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Repair, maintain, and restore existing brickwork where required.
• Read and interpret building plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and construction requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe work area.
• Work effectively with other trades and team members to meet project deadlines.
