Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in Western Australia is seeking skilled and trade-qualified Bricklayers for ongoing residential and commercial projects. The role suits bricklayers who can demonstrate trade knowledge through practical experience, understand construction requirements and consistently deliver accurate, quality workmanship.

Candidates with recognised qualifications and verifiable industry experience will be considered for full-time employment, with competitive industry rates, weekly pay

Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualifications in Bricklaying required.
• Proven professional bricklaying experience.
• Strong understanding of bricklaying techniques and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from construction plans and drawings.
• Set out brickwork accurately according to project specifications.
• Lay bricks and blocks to the required standard and finish.
• Prepare and mix mortar to the appropriate consistency.
• Measure and maintain accurate levels, lines, and alignment.
• Operate brick cutting equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Follow construction specifications and established building practices.
• Maintain safe working practices across residential and commercial sites.
• Use hand tools, power tools and bricklaying equipment appropriately.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other construction trades.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Complete assigned work efficiently while meeting project deadlines.

• Abilitytoconfidentlyreadandinterpretbuildingplans
