Murrumbidgee Local Health District invites applications for a Specialist Radiologist to join BreastScreen NSW across Wagga Wagga and Queanbeyan. This VMO sessional position requires fellowship in Radiology, AHPRA registration, and NSW health clearances, with travel across sites and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists is essential.
• Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) is required.
• NSW EPA Radiation Licence is required.
• NSW Working With Children Check is required.
• National Criminal Record Check is required.
• Compliance with NSW Health vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality assurance activities as part of the BreastScreen program.
• Perform breast screening image reading and interpretation services.
• Provide assessment clinic services, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary BreastScreen team to maintain high-quality screening and assessment services.
• Participate in accreditation activities and support compliance with National Accreditation Standards.
• Attend Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and CARE meetings.
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and education activities as required.
