Job summary

Truckline in Brooklyn, VIC, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the Brooklyn branch, driving sales, margins and operational excellence.

You will manage a team across sales, warehouse and branch operations while delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with key clients. This hands-on role offers growth within the Australian business and a pathway across Bapcor brands.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Experience managing branch, warehouse, retail or trade operations.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound understanding of financial performance, margins and account management.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong understanding of Work Health & Safety principles.

Job Description

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the Brooklyn branch, ensuring the business achieves or exceeds sales, margin and operational targets.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will lead a team across sales, warehouse and branch operations while driving customer service excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading and developing a high-performing branch team
• Managing branch sales, profitability and operational performance
• Monitoring sales and margin performance and implementing improvement strategies
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers
• Identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand market share
• Managing branch inventory, stock control and stocktakes
• Overseeing warehouse operations, safety and security standards
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and Work Health & Safety requirements
• Managing branch administration, reporting, invoicing, banking and debtors
• Conducting regular team meetings, coaching and performance reviews
• Supporting and developing team capability through training and mentoring
• Handling complex customer enquiries and delivering exceptional customer service
• Working closely with Sales Representatives and Regional Leadership to achieve business objectives

• Strong understanding of Work Health & Safety principles

Desirable but Not Essential

• Diploma or Degree in Business or a related field
• Experience within the heavy vehicle, transport, automotive, industrial or trade sectors
• Knowledge of truck and trailer parts
• Experience managing multiple functions including sales, warehouse and customer service teams
