Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in international freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain operations with 5+ years' experience.
• Strong knowledge of WA freight market and established customer/supplier networks.
• Commercial ability across business development, customer management, budgets and profit delivery.
• Demonstrated success leading people, improving performance and managing change.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, customs, compliance and operational controls.
• CargoWise One experience is highly regarded; clear communication and stakeholder trust.

Responsibilities

• Own the branch P&L and exceed monthly budget targets.
• Lead day-to-day branch operations; hold managers accountable for service, productivity and results.
• Ensure import/export, customs, transport and warehouse activities are compliant and cost-effective.
• Translate financial results into actions for department managers and senior leadership.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance across the branch.
• Manage workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, development and retention with HR support.
