Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation in Adelaide to recruit a Branch Member Consultant for a permanent part-time position. The role is 22.5 hours per week, Mon-Wed, 8:45am-5:00pm, with induction, branch training, and occasional Saturday shifts with extra pay.

You will deliver face-to-face and telephone support, discuss needs-based insurance products, and work toward individual and team KPIs while building long-term relationships in the local community.

Branch Member Consultant – Part-Time

MAYDAY Recruitment is excited to partner with a well-established and purpose-driven organisation to recruit a Branch Member Consultant for their Adelaide-based branch.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer‑focused sales professional who enjoys building genuine relationships, working towards KPIs and helping people make informed decisions about their insurance and healthcare needs.

You'll join a small, supportive team where you'll have the opportunity to build long‑term relationships with customers and make a genuine difference to their experience.

The Opportunity

This is a permanent part‑time position, working 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 8:45am – 5:00pm.

You'll receive comprehensive training to set you up for success:

• 1 week of full‑time induction training, with travel and accommodation arranged

• Followed by 3 weeks of training in the branch

• Some flexibility can be considered during the branch training period for the right candidate

• Once fully trained, you'll work a rotating Saturday roster, approximately 1–2 Saturdays per month, 10:00am – 2:00pm, with additional pay for these shifts

• Provide exceptional face‑to‑face and telephone service to customers

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong customer service skills with a genuine sales mindset.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in sales and customer service, ideally working towards KPIs or targets

• Confidence building rapport and holding meaningful conversations with customers

• An empathetic and customer‑focused approach

• Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to individual needs

• Confidence learning and navigating new systems

• A collaborative, adaptable and positive approach

• A genuine interest in building a long‑term career

Experience in private health insurance or financial services would be highly regarded, however candidates from retail sales or other customer‑focused environments are also encouraged to apply.
