Lindsay Australia Limited is seeking a Box Maker / Forklift Driver to join the Lindsay Rural team in Brisbane on a full-time basis. The role suits a mechanically minded person and offers training to start a career while keeping the warehouse moving.

No prior experience required. Key duties include operating the box machine, pre-checks and routine maintenance, quality checks, forklift handling (if licence and experience exist), and general warehouse housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Current and valid forklift ticket.
• Experience in a similar environment; box machine experience highly regarded but not essential.
• Mechanical background advantageous.
• Strong work ethic with reliability and good communication.

Responsabilités

• Operate the box machine to produce cartons and perform pre-checks, configuration, maintenance and cleaning.
• Quality check cartons and stack/store properly.
• Unload/load trucks with forklift when licence/experience allows.
• Assist with general housekeeping of yard and warehouse.

We are seeking a Box Maker / Forklift Driver to join our Lindsay Rural team in Brisbane on a Full-time basis.

This role would suit a mechanically minded person as you will also be maintaining the box machine. No prior experience is required - this is an opportunity to learn and start a career, keep our warehouse moving along.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Safe and appropriate operation of the Box Machine to produce cartons.
• Pre-checks, manual configuration, ongoing maintenance & cleaning of the machine.
• Quality checking of cartons and stack & store in appropriate manner.
• Unloading/loading trucks with the forklift - if valid licence & experience held
• General housekeeping of yard and warehouse

About you:

• Current and valid Forklift ticket
• Prior experience in a similar environment, use of Box Machine highly regarded but not essential
• Mechanical background advantageous
• Good attention to detail with a strong customer service focus.
• Good work ethic, reliability and good communication skills
• Able to take direction, work under pressure and to ever changing timelines
• Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.

To be successful for this role applicants must:

• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
• Be flexible and able to work over weekends as required
• Able to work in and around chemical, fertilizer, nutrient and packaging
