Job summary

Linfox in Bowen, North Queensland, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to run the day-to-day rail and road freight operations. You will lead planning, allocate resources and coordinate transport movements to deliver reliable service for customers and drivers.

This full-time role (Mon-Fri, 5am–1pm) offers leadership exposure, safety‑first practices, and opportunities to improve processes, build strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure CoR compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport coordination or rail/road operations.
• Strong planning and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of CoR, fatigue management and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport and rail activities, planning freight movements and allocating resources.
• Support drivers and operational staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, rail providers and internal stakeholders to deliver service outcomes.
• Promote a positive safety culture through toolbox talks and site safety practices.
• Monitor day-to-day operations, resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, CoR and operational procedures.
