Job summary

Kokonut Pacific is seeking a Packing Room Operator/Warehouse Assistant in East Queanbeyan for a full-time, on-site role. Immediate start and long-term potential offered. Salary is based on experience, with hours 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

You will use semi-automated bottling equipment, blend products, manage inventory, and ensure safety standards. Strong attention to detail and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive planning to keep production running smoothly.
• Ability to multitask and monitor several operations.
• Strong math skills and accurate production data recording.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with databases or business systems is an advantage.
• Forklift licence preferred; if not held, role requires obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bottling equipment to support production.
• Accurately blend bulk products following procedures.
• Plan ahead to manage inventory and packing schedules.
• Comply with HACCP Food Safety Management System.
• Maintain production records and quality checks.
• Monitor line performance and seek efficiency improvements.
• Keep a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to improve workflow.
• Assist with packing customer orders as needed.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
