Job summary

MCS Civil is seeking experienced Concrete Boom Pump and Line Pump Operators to join our project teams across NSW, QLD and SA. You will safely operate pumps, set up equipment, and coordinate concrete placement on major civil infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years experience operating concrete boom pumps on civil projects.
• Current High Risk Work Licence PB (Concrete Placing Boom).
• MR Driver's Licence required; HR is highly regarded.
• Able to conduct pre-starts, identify faults and perform routine equipment checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate concrete boom pumps and/or combined line pumps.
• Position and set up pumping equipment for concrete placement.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Coordinate concrete placement with concreting crews and supervisors.
• Monitor pump performance and concrete delivery.
• Identify and report equipment issues.
• Maintain equipment and work areas around the pump in a clean, safe condition.
• Follow all site safety requirements and SWMS.
• Provide hands-on support during concrete placement and finishing.
