Interior Engineering in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts/Bookkeeper to join the team on a full-time basis. This hands-on role covers accounting, payroll and management reporting, working closely with the Directors to keep the financial and administrative side of the business running smoothly.

You will manage end-to-end accounting, invoicing, reconciliations and cash flow, with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in maintaining the finance function and bookkeeping.
• Experience with MYOB Payroll; Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint desirable.
• Able to meet recurring deadlines and communicate professionally with stakeholders.
• Must have full working rights in Australia and be available to work from Brisbane office.

Responsabilités

• Complete end-to-end accounting including accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
• Liaise with Directors; manage payroll and management reporting functions.
• Prepare BAS/IAS and payroll tax compliance; handle reconciliations and cash flow.
• Support debt collection and financial administration to keep operations smooth.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts / Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident leading the accounting, payroll and management reporting functions. You’ll need to be comfortable managing routine accounts processes accurately and efficiently, while also using initiative and good judgement when required. The successful applicant will work closely with the Directors and play an important role in keeping the financial and administrative side of the business running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Complete EOM processing
• End to end accounting function
• Invoicing, Receipting and Creditor payments
• BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, Superannuation
• Bank and General Ledger Reconciliations
• Management reporting
• Cash flow control
• Debt collections

Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate will:

• Strong practical experience in maintaining the finance function, bookkeeping or a similar financial support role.
• Sound working knowledge of MYOB Payroll; experience with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint would be desirable
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to meet recurring deadlines and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Sound judgement when handling payments and confidential information
