Job summary

A growing Public Practice firm in Melbourne's South East is seeking a Bookkeeper to join a close-knit team. You will own a portfolio of 20-30 clients, handling day-to-day bookkeeping and client relationships in a busy, fast-paced environment.

The role covers BAS preparation and lodgement, payroll and regular client communication, with the option to work from home ~1 day per week. Office-based with potential for part-time hours for the right candidate; salary is around $85k + super.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience within Public Practice (essential).
• Strong payroll experience (essential).
• Ownership mindset and ability to manage your own client portfolio.
• Experience with Employment Hero is a plus but not essential.

You'll take ownership of your own portfolio of 20-30 clients - managing the relationships and handling the day-to-day bookkeeping. The work is varied, with no two clients exactly the same, in a busy, fast-paced environment where the team genuinely works well together.

The role:

• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Working closely with the wider team

What's on offer:

• $85k + super
• Predominantly office-based with flexibility to WFH ~1 day/week
• Open to part-time hours for the right person
