Job summary

Core Talent in Brisbane's Eagle Farm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the growing finance team. This newly created position will own day-to-day transactional accounts and bookkeeping activities, and work closely with the CFO in a stable, long-term role within a residential construction business.

The role is office-based with a minimum of 30 hours per week up to full-time, five days, with flexible daily start and finish times.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' bookkeeping experience within an Australian business.
• Strong accounts payable and reconciliation skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confident using accounting software and Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage a consistent workload.
• Professional and discreet when handling confidential financial information.
• Residential construction, building or trades experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with job costing and subcontractor payments advantageous.
• Databuild experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with Onsite Companion, EzyScan or Therefore would be beneficial; training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and job costs.
• Preparing payment runs and resolving supplier queries.
• Completing bank, supplier and account reconciliations.
• Maintaining supplier and subcontractor records.
• Following up missing invoices and statements.
• Assisting with month-end processes and general ledger maintenance.
• Supporting the CFO with BAS workpapers, reporting and system updates.
• Reconciling purchase orders within Databuild.
• Providing occasional data entry and administration support to the estimating team.

Bookkeeper - Part-Time or Full-Time

Eagle Farm | From $75,000 + Super

An established residential construction business based in Eagle Farm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join its growing finance team.

This newly created position will work closely with the CFO, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional accounts and bookkeeping activities. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role with flexible hours and a consistent workload.

The position can be structured from a minimum of 30 hours per week through to full-time, depending on the successful candidate's preference. This is an office-based role working five days per week, with flexibility around daily start and finish times.

Key Responsibilities
