Job summary

Development Careers in Eagle Farm is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to take ownership of transactional work while the CFO concentrates on reporting, cash flow and profitability. You will handle accounts payable, supplier and subcontractor invoicing, match invoices to PO and job costs, and prepare payment runs.

You will also maintain supplier records, chase missing invoices, assist with reconciliations and month-end tasks, and support the estimating team with data entry and pricing updates.

Qualifications

• Three+ years hands-on bookkeeping experience in an Australian business
• Strong accounts payable and reconciliation skills
• Good knowledge of Excel and data handling

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and process supplier/subcontractor invoices
• Match invoices to purchase orders and job costs; prepare payment runs
• Maintain supplier/subcontractor records and chase missing invoices/statements
• Assist with reconciliations and month-end tasks; keep ledgers tidy
• Support estimating team with data entry and pricing updates
• Provide ad hoc support to CFO with BAS workpapers, reporting and system tidy-ups
