Hazeldenes Chicken Farm is seeking a Process Worker to support efficient, high-quality poultry processing in a team-driven environment. The role involves handling, grading, packing and processing meat while upholding hygiene, safety and food safety standards.

The position requires adherence to GMP, OH&S guidelines and HACCP requirements, with opportunities across production, packaging, and related support areas in regional Victoria.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of meat processing tasks, including cutting, grading, deboning, and packing poultry.
• Rotate through different workstations, including packing, carton making, bird grading, and tub washing.
• Inspect poultry for quality, identifying defects such as bruises, broken bones, or missing internal parts.
• Operate and maintain processing equipment as required.
• Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and weighing of products per company specifications.
• Follow standard operating procedures to meet production targets and efficiency goals
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards, including HACCP requirements.
• Perform quality checks on meat products and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain clean and hygienic work areas in compliance with sanitation protocols.
• Report any non-conforming products, equipment malfunctions, or food safety concerns.
• Follow all OH&S regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report safety hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to safe work procedures to minimize risks.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, team members, and quality assurance personnel.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and report issues to supervisors as needed.
• Adapt to different tasks and workstations as required by production demands.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
