Job summary

Chotto Matte, a global Nikkei dining concept, is opening in Bondi Beach and is seeking passionate Waiters for the front-of-house team. Training begins 26 October for one week at our Ultimo kitchen location, and successful applicants must attend the full training.

As a waiter you will deliver attentive, knowledgeable service, learn about our Nikkei cuisine and drinks, and collaborate with Front of House and Bar teams to ensure a seamless guest journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a restaurant role.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• A friendly, professional and positive manner with guests and colleagues.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and confident under pressure.
• Flexible, dependable, and keen to grow within a global hospitality brand.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, knowledgeable and professional service at every stage of the guest experience.
• Develop strong product knowledge of our Nikkei food and beverage offering, cocktails, sake and wider drinks menus.
• Follow Chotto Matte's global service standards and Steps of Service.
• Work closely with the wider Front of House and Bar teams to keep service smooth and seamless.
• Maintain allergen awareness and all health, hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Process orders and payments accurately.
