Rendine Constructions invites applications for Boilermakers / Welders to join our Geelong modular manufacturing facility. This permanent full-time role focuses on quality fabrication and welding, including MIG welding, fabrication to shop drawings, and maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have Australian trade qualification in fabrication (preferred), 3–5 years’ experience, and the ability to read steel shop drawings.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised trade qualification in fabrication (preferred).
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with MIG welding and structural steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret steel shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing or quality fabrication environments.

Geelong based | Permanent full-time | Modular construction manufacturing

We are continuing to grow and are seeking experienced Boilermakers / Welders to join our team at our modular manufacturing facility in Geelong.

About the role

Reporting to the relevant supervisor, you will be responsible for general metal fabrication and welding duties, including:

• measuring and setting out;
• cutting, fit-up and fabrication;
• MIG welding;
• welding and fabricating structural steel;
• reading and working from steel shop drawings;
• surface preparation and treatment;
• maintaining quality, safety and housekeeping standards.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• an Australian recognised trade qualification in fabrication, preferred;
• minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role;
• experience with MIG welding and structural steel fabrication;
• ability to read and interpret steel shop drawings;
• strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship;
