Job summary

Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking experienced Boilermakers and Fabricators for our Mt Thorley workshop. You will perform fabrication and welding, read engineering drawings, and support maintenance and engineering crews in a fast-paced environment.

Roles offer day/afternoon shifts, a strong safety culture, and potential for permanency. If you have the right attitude and qualifications, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Recognised Boilermaker/Fabrication trade qualification.
• Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and D&A test.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding work (including passing a weld test).
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Material handling and processing activities.
• Working alongside maintenance and engineering crews.
• Operating forklifts and profile cutting equipment (where trained).
• Tackling workshop tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

Boilermakers & Fabricators Wanted - Mt Thorley

Programmed Skilled Workforce is on the hunt for experienced Boilermakers and Fabricators to join our client's workshop team at Mt Thorley. We're looking for tradespeople who know their way around steel, take safety seriously, and don't panic when someone says, \"Can you just do this quick job?\"

What You'll Be Doing

• Fabrication and welding work (including passing a weld test)


• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings


• Material handling and processing activities


• Working alongside maintenance and engineering crews


• Operating forklifts, profile cutting equipment and managing materials where appropriately trained


• Tackling various workshop tasks as directed by the Supervisor

What We're Looking For

You will need:

• A recognised Boilermaker/Fabrication Trade Qualification


• Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments


• The ability to read engineering drawings


• A strong commitment to safety


• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A test
