Job summary

Dawsons Engineering is seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our Cairns workshop team for a major platework package. This is a steady, ongoing workshop role with a strong pipeline of upcoming project work, not a short-term shutdown gig.

You will work in a modern, fully equipped Cairns workshop with opportunities for overtime during peak periods and clear career progression within our 30+ year local company.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate (Boilermaker or Welder) is required.
• Own hand tools must be available.
• Current driver's license is required.
• Pre-employment medical and instant drug & alcohol screen as part of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate platework and structural steel in a workshop setting.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
• Operate in a Cairns workshop with adherence to safety protocols.
