Job summary

Saunders International is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Boilermaker, Welders and Fitters for ongoing works across Geelong and the wider Melbourne area. The role starts ASAP to support projects in the region, with potential for more ongoing work.

Requirements include Australian recognised trade qualification, White/Blue Card, recent Safe Work at Heights and Confined space tickets, valid driver's license, right to work in Australia, and ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised trade qualification (Cert III Engineering & Fabrication or similar).
• Experience in Bulk Storage Tank construction/maintenance preferred.
• Construction induction card (White Card or Blue Card).
• Safe Work at Heights within last 2 years – desirable.
• Confined space ticket within last 2 years – desirable.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Physically capable of manual tasks (lifting, bending, squatting, kneeling).
• High safety and quality standards.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol test.

We are currently seeking experienced and safety consciousBoilermaker/ Welders/Fitters for ongoing works across Geelong and the wider Melbourne areas. This role will start ASAP and support our ongoing projects in the region. There is the possibility of more ongoing work for the right people.

About you:

• Australian recognised trade qualification (Cert III Engineering & Fabrication or similar).
• Previous experience in Bulk Storage Tank construction or maintenance highly regarded
• Construction induction card (White Card or Blue Card)
• Safe Work at Heights (valid within the last 2 years) - desirable
• Confined space ticket (valid within the last 2 years) - desirable
• Valid Driver’s license
• Proof of right to work in Australia
• The ability to work within a team
• Be physically capable to complete manual tasks - the role may involve manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling
• High safety and quality standards
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test - mandatory

Above award pay rates and conditions of employment apply, rates between $60-63/hr for new starters.
