Job summary

UGL is seeking a qualified Boilermaker Welder for the Chevron Barrow Island CO2 Project. The role is casual, 12-hour days on a 15/6 roster, based in Perth with site allowances and penalties on an hourly rate.

You will have a minimum of 3 years' Oil & Gas experience, a Trade Certificate, White Card, and the ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen. This is a six-month assignment working with a leading international contractor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' previous experience preferably within Oil & Gas.
• Trade Certificate (Boiler Maker / Sheet Metal / Welder) is required.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Ability to pass project-specific pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
• RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights (36 months).
• MSMWHS212 Undertake first response to fire incidents (or equivalent).
• Must reside in Perth, WA.

Job description

UGL are currently seeking suitably qualified Boilermaker Welder for the Chevron – Barrow Island CO2 Project. The Gorgon LNG facility incorporates the world’s largest CCS system. Naturally occurring carbon dioxide (CO2) is taken from offshore gas reservoirs and injected into a sandstone bedrock formation two kms beneath Barrow Island, where it remains permanently trapped. As part of the UGL Co2 Project team, you will play a key role in the delivery of a high profile, pioneering project.

About Role

• 15/6 roster
• 12-hour days
• Hourly rate + penalties + site allowances

About You

• To be considered you must reside in Perth, WA
