Job summary

UGL is seeking a Boilermaker Welder for the Chevron Barrow Island CO2 Project, Perth-based candidate required to work on site. The role operates on a 15/6 roster with 12-hour days and is casual for approximately six months.

You must reside in Perth, WA, hold a Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/Sheet Metal/Welder), and be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen. White Card and height safety training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience preferably within Oil & Gas.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
• Construction White Card.

Job description

UGL are currently seeking suitably qualified Boilermaker Welder for the Chevron – Barrow Island CO2 Project. The Gorgon LNG facility incorporates the world’s largest CCS system. Naturally occurring carbon dioxide (CO2) is taken from offshore gas reservoirs and injected into a sandstone bedrock formation two kms beneath Barrow Island, where it remains permanently trapped. As part of the UGL Co2 Project team, you will play a key role in the delivery of a high profile, pioneering project.

About Role

• 15/6 roster
• 12-hour days
• Hourly rate + penalties + site allowances

About you

• To be considered you must reside in Perth, WA
• Minimum of 3 years' previous experience preferably within Oil & Gas
• Ability to pass project-specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
