Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Boilermaker Welder for an Adelaide-based workshop role focusing on repair and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment (HME). You'll perform structural repairs, rebuilds and fabrication on mining and civil equipment, including buckets, trays and wear plates, working from engineering drawings and repair specifications.

A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Boilermaker/Welder is required.
• Proven experience with heavy earthmoving equipment repairs.
• 4G Flux Core welding experience is essential.
• Weld testing ability may be required.
• Current Driver's Licence and strong safety/quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Heavy structural repairs on buckets, trays, blades, and attachments.
• Fabrication and welding of wear plates and structural components.
• Crack detection, gouging, preparation, and weld repairs.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and repair specifications.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.

Boilermaker Welder (BMW) - Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Repairs $56-$60/hr | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours per Week | AdelaideBased

Chandler Macleod is currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker Welder for a Adelaide-based workshop role focusing on the repair and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment (HME).

Working within a well-established team, you will be responsible for carrying out structural repairs, rebuilds, and fabrication work on mining and civil equipment, including buckets, trays, blades, and other heavy components.

Key Responsibilities

• Heavy structural repairs on buckets, trays, blades, and attachments
• Fabrication and welding of wear plates and structural components
• Crack detection, gouging, preparation, and weld repairs
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and repair specifications
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety

Essential Requirements

• Trade Qualified Boilermaker / Welder
• Demonstrated experience with heavy earthmoving equipment repairs
• Proven 4G Flux Core welding experience
• Ability to pass weld testing if required
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
