Job summary

GSJ Fabrications Pty in Sydney is seeking reliable metal fabrication workers to join a team working on water infrastructure projects. You will read engineer drawings and contribute to pipework, structural steel fabrication and installation across various sites around Sydney.

Qualifications

• Read engineer drawings and work from them.
• Ability to work in a team or with minimal supervision.
• Must have own transport and license.
• Must hold construction white card.
• Fork Lift licence or certification.
• Confined space training.
• EWP / Boom ticket.

Responsibilities

• Work on pipework, structural steel fabrication and installation across sites.
• Read and interpret drawings to guide on-site tasks.
• Operate on various sites around Sydney.
• Contribute to projects with a hands-on approach and maintain safety standards.

Job description

Due to an increase for our services, GSJ Fabrications are looking for suitable people who have the ability to work on various sites around Sydney.

We predominantly work on and around water infrastructure, and the type of work varies from pipework, structural steel fabrications and install, mechanical installation, using materials such as stainless, aluminium and mild steel.

We offer the chance to experience many different tasks with in the steel industry and keep it interesting as we don't often do the same job twice.

An immediate start is available to the right person, offering the chance to work with a great team of guys and in an environment where there are opportunities to advance within the company and hard work is rewarded.

We are ISO accredited in 9001 quality and 18001 / AS45001 safety, both of which we take seriously.
