Job summary

Glencore's Murrin Murrin Operations in WA's northern Goldfields seeks an experienced Boilermaker/ Pipefitter to join our Central Works team on an 8:6 | 7:7 roster, day and night shifts.

You will perform pipefitting and boilermaking tasks, complete preventative maintenance, assist with breakdowns, and identify material grades across our process plant. Trade-qualified with coded welding skills to ASME IX/AS3992 is required.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified boilermaker with coded welding skills to ASME IX and AS3992
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar environment
• Australian manual driver licence (essential)
• Previous pipefitting experience (preferred)
• FIFO experience preferred

Murrin Murrin Operations has an opportunity for an experienced boilermaker / pipefitter to join our established and dedicated team.

Murrin Murrin Operations is Australia's largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role

The successful person will become a member of our Central Works team as a Boilermaker/ Pipefitter. In this role you will be working an 8:6 | 7:7 roster, rotating with your crew between swings of day and night shift.

You will be responsible for:

• Perform pipefitting and boilermaking duties as required and according to maintenance schedules
• Completion of relevant preventative maintenance tasks across our process plant
• Assisting in the completion of breakdown and shutdown maintenance
• Identifying material grades

About You

This role would suit a trade qualified boilermaker with coded welding skills able to pass multiple weld tests to ASME IX and AS3992 on a range of materials such as carbon steel, stainless steels, nickel alloys and titanium.

You will also have:

• Trade Certification (Fabrication Trade)
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar environment
• An Australian manual driver licence (essential)
• Previous pipefitting experience (preferred)Previous FIFO experience
• Basic Computer skills
