Job summary

SIMPEC Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Boilermakers for the Alkimos Desalination Plant Project in Western Australia. This long-term, Perth metro-based role requires a trade certificate, high-risk work licence (WP), and current safety training.

You will contribute to structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works on a landmark infrastructure project. The Alkimos Desalination Plant will deliver drinking water to Western Australia and connect via a 33.5 km pipeline.

Qualifications

• Must have trade certificate and relevant welding experience.
• HRW licence (WP) required.
• Working at heights training up to date.
• Fire extinguisher training completed.
• Construction Card current.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Australian work rights established.

About The Project

SIMPEC has been awarded the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works for the Alkimos Desalination Plant Project.

Be part of this major AU$2.8 billion project, delivering critical infrastructure to strengthen Western Australia's future water security. The new desalination plant will supply drinking water to millions of Western Australians and connect to Perth's water network via a 33.5 km underground pipeline between Alkimos and Wanneroo.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Must be able to pass full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Previous Construction / Mining Experience
