Job summary

Mtec Mechanical Services is seeking qualified Boilermaker tradespeople to join our Rutherford and Singleton mining asset overhaul teams. Work in a brand new workshop facility with long term contracts and a stable, family-owned environment.

Rotating 9-day fortnight roster (days then nights) with overtime penalties, competitive base rates of $50–$64 per hour, and opportunities for weld training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Ultraclass mining haul truck chassis overhaul & major repair experience highly regarded.
• AS/NZS 1554.5 weld quality understanding advantageous.
• Current Australian Driver's License & reliable transport required.

Responsibilities

• Boilermaker roles supporting mining equipment overhauls in a new custom-built workshop.
• Caterpillar & Komatsu haul truck overhauls and ancillary asset rebuilds.
• Ongoing training and career progression opportunities within the business.
