Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited in Western Australia is seeking a Boilermaker for fixed plant maintenance at our Tuckabianna Processing Plant near Cue. The role covers maintenance of crushing, milling and leaching circuits, with support for installation, testing and record-keeping of mechanical equipment.

You will maintain Pronto CMMS records, participate in safety and pre-starts, and mentor apprentices while embracing a 14/14 rosters and site allowances.

Qualifications

• Current valid C class Western Australian driver’s licence.
• Experience in a gold or similar mineral processing plant.
• Trade qualifications, certificates and licences relevant to boilermaking.
• Experience with Flux core, Arc, Oxy, Mig and Air Arc Gouging & Lancing.
• Experience with a CMMS such as Pronto is desirable; EWP/Rigging/Dogging HRWL is desirable.
• Senior First Aid qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service processing plant infrastructure including crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits.
• Assist with installation, testing, maintenance and record keeping of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto.
• Attend call outs as per call out roster and perform routine inspections.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and implement effective controls; conduct risk assessments and JSEA.
• Undertake daily workplace and equipment inspections and pre-starts.
• Complete training and LMS procedures via INX Safety Database.
• Participate in OHSE discussions at pre-starts and safety meetings.
• Train and mentor apprentices.
