Job summary

Linkforce Engineering is seeking several experienced Boilermakers to support shutdown, maintenance and project works across Australia’s largest mine sites in a casual FIFO role. As a Boilermaker, you will apply heavy and structural fabrication skills to fixed plant shutdowns and maintenance scopes, reading drawings and adhering to site safety and permit-to-work procedures.

Qualifications

• Heavy fabrication trade qualification (AU/NZ recognised).
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years).
• Construction White Card.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Australian work rights.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform shutdown and maintenance works involving heavy and structural steel fabrication.
• Fabricating, repairing and installing chutes, liners, bins, platforms, guards and structural components.
• Completing plate work, pipe work and welding repairs on fixed plant equipment.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
• Working safely and in compliance with permit-to-work, isolation and site safety procedures.
