Job summary

Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking experienced boilermakers and fabricators for a Mt Thorley, NSW site. You will perform fabrication and welding, read drawings, and support maintenance and operations.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, and environmental considerations. Ongoing role with the potential for permanency for the right candidates; attractive rates and excellent working conditions.

Qualifications

• Recognised Trade Qualification essential.
• Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment desirable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including D&A.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Forklift licence and safety certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication duties and welding techniques.
• Undertaking materials handling / processing with emphasis on Safety, Quality, productivity, cost, continuous improvement, delivery and environmental concerns.
• Assist and work with maintenance and engineering personnel where required.
• Undertake other tasks such as forklift operation, profile cutting, and materials management etc within capabilities and training, when directed to by Workshop Supervisor or other site management.
