Job summary

MACA Mining is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our maintenance team at the Sanjiv Ridge project in the Pilbara region of WA. You will work on buckets, trays, chassis repairs and fabrication, ensuring safe, reliable equipment for our mining fleet.

The role offers a FIFO 2:1 roster (7 days on, 7 nights, 7 off) with competitive rates, employer superannuation, paid paternity leave, and access to a range of benefits and wellbeing resources from MACA.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised trade qualification.
• Experience on buckets, trays, chassis repairs and fabrication.
• HR driver's licence preferred.
• High Risk Work Licence – EWP or DG desirable.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of WHS policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buckets, trays, chassis and perform fabrication tasks.
• Ensure equipment reliability and safe operation in the mine.
• Follow site WHS policies and procedures at all times.

MACA Mining are seeking an Boilermaker to join our maintenance team at our Sanjiv Ridge project. The Sanjiv Ridge iron ore mine, owned by Hancock Iron Ore, is situated in the Pilbara region of WA approximately 240 kilometres from Port Hedland.

The fleet onsite consist of CAT 785D, CAT 785C dump trucks, Komatsu 1250, Liebherr R9150 excavators, CAT777D watercart, CAT 16M Grader, CAT D10T Dozer, Epiroc T45 Drill Rigs

To be successful in this role you will possess

• Australian Recognised Trade
• Experience working on buckets, trays, chassis repairs and fabrication experience.
• HR drivers’ licence preferable.
• High Risk Work Licence – EWP, DG (desirable)
• Excellent communication experience
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
• Good knowledge and ability to follow Work health and safety procedures and policies.
