Job summary

RSGx Group is seeking a Boilermaker for a full-time, ongoing role based in Adelaide, SA, working across workshop and client sites. The position requires reading blueprints, welding (MIG/Arc) and potentially TIG, with travel across SA and interstate as needed.

You will operate in both workshop and site environments, earning $55 per hour in the workshop, with a $10 per hour uplift on site and 15% additional pay for night shifts. A White Card and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and specs.
• Must pass AS/NZS 1554 – Structural Steel Welding (MIG and Arc).
• Prepared to develop skills in TIG welding.
• White Card and valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel in SA and interstate on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication, welding, and maintenance across workshop and client sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Fabricate, repair and replace structural components.
• Welding using MIG and Arc processes.
• Cutting, grinding and use of hand/power tools.
• Aligning structures with precision instruments.

This is an Adelaide-based position with approximately 30% workshop and 70% client site work, supporting projects across the Resources, Oil & Gas, Energy and Industrial Infrastructure sectors. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for a range of fabrication, welding, structural and maintenance activities across workshop and client site environments.

• Working in industrial environments, including acid and lead processing plants
• General boilermaking and fabrication tasks
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications
• Fabricating, repairing and replacing structural and mechanical components
• Welding using MIG and Arc processes
• Cutting, grinding and using hand and power tools
• Aligning and levelling structures using precision instruments
• Performing maintenance and inspections
