Job summary

Porta Mouldings is seeking a Boiler Attendant to join our Bombala team. Reporting to the Treatment Coordinator, you will operate kilns, perform safety checks and assist with maintenance to support continuous production.

This is a full-time permanent role with a 12-hour shift pattern on a rotating 24/7 roster. We value reliability, attention to detail and a strong safety mindset in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift licence (LF) and experience required.
• Previous experience in a production/warehouse environment.
• Interest in long-term career opportunity.
• Excellent attention to detail, quality and safety.
• Physically fit for manual and repetitive tasks.
• Reliable and motivated to perform daily.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload kilns.
• Perform calibration and safety checks as required.
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance as required.
• Monitor dryspec and steam temperatures.
• Ensure Kilns are kept clean and lubricated, liaising with maintenance staff.
• Work full time on a rotating 24/7 12-hour shift roster.

Our Boiler Attendants are hardworking and passionate about who we are and what we do.

Your new position, reporting to the Treatment Coordinator will include:

• Loading and unloading kilns
• Calibration and safety checks as required
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance as required
• Monitor dryspec and steam temperatures
• Ensure maintenance of the Kilns to the required level of cleanliness and lubrication, including standard adjustments and liaise with maintenance staff as required.
• This is a full time permanent position working 12 hour shifts on a rotating 24/7 roster.

• Have previous experience working within a production/warehouse environment
