Job summary

Grosvenor Engineering Group in Melbourne seeks an experienced BMS Project Manager to lead the delivery of BMS projects across commercial sites from award to handover. You will own projects end to end, including design options, procurement, scheduling, commissioning and handover documentation, while building lasting client and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience managing BMS or controls projects, in commercial building services or construction.
• Experience managing projects up to $1M, including budgets, programmes and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of BMS architecture, controls and HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Current White Card and Australian working rights.
• Experience with Niagara AX/N4 platforms.
• Experience with Distech or Honeywell WEBS platforms.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and LonWorks integration.
• Estimating and tendering experience.
• Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle of BMS projects up to approximately $1M, from award to handover.
• Oversee project planning, design options, procurement, scheduling, safety and documentation.
• Review and develop BMS designs, points schedules and control strategies.
• Coordinate and schedule BMS technicians, programmers, electrical subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor budgets, costs, variations, invoicing and subcontractor pricing.
• Oversee installation, programming, integration and commissioning of BMS systems.
• Engage with clients, builders, consultants and facilities managers throughout delivery.
• Prepare and review project documentation including O&M manuals, as-builts and handover packs.
• Promote safety through SWMS review and safe work practices.
• Assist estimating and preparation of quotations and technical proposals.
