Job summary

Johnson Controls Sydney is seeking a skilled BMS Service Technician to maintain and repair building management systems across commercial facilities. The role is full-time and based on-site in Sydney, focusing on HVAC, lighting controls, and energy management systems.

You will diagnose faults, implement upgrades, provide technical support, and keep comprehensive service records while collaborating with the wider team to ensure reliable building operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BMS or HVAC service technician with strong building automation knowledge.
• Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or building automation systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on BMS equipment, including HVAC systems, lighting controls, and energy management systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in BMS components and systems.
• Implement system upgrades and modifications as required.
• Provide technical support and training to building occupants and facility managers.
• Maintain detailed records of all service activities.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.
