Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Project Manager to lead BMS and HVAC projects in Australia, overseeing from initiation to completion and ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams, develop schedules, manage costs, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar role as a Project Manager within the BMS or HVAC industry.
• Develop and deliver margin improvement strategies.
• Ability to develop and implement budgets.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Management and leadership of BMS / HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to plans, timelines and budget.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, define scopes and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for effective project execution and delivery.
• Prepare project schedules, allocate resources and estimate costs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Hold regular project status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, technical specs and change orders.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of equipment and materials.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning activities to meet requirements and client expectations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team and troubleshoot issues.
