Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Network Engineer to join our technical operations team in Queenstown. You will deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain nodes and validator infrastructure across multiple networks.

This role emphasizes stability, performance, and security of blockchain systems. Ideal candidates bring solid networking, Linux/Unix, and DevOps experience, plus knowledge of blockchain consensus and node operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in network engineering, systems administration, or DevOps, with a focus on blockchain technology.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and other networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of blockchain consensus mechanisms and node operations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain nodes and validator infrastructure for various blockchain networks.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security, responding proactively to issues.
• Implement and manage network security measures to protect blockchain infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity, node operation, and consensus.
