Join our team as an Installer to play a crucial role in enhancing the comfort and functionality of our customers' homes and businesses. We are a local, family-owned business trading in the Port Stephens area for over 20 years with a wide range of clients including real estates, home owners and business owners.

Key responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency in the installation of various blind, awning, shutter and other products, ensuring precision and attention to detail

Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in manufacturing Blinds at our local factory

Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service during installations and addressing any questions or concerns

Successfully navigate different environments and work with a variety of styles and sizes in window, door and outdoor area settings, adapting installation techniques accordingly

Work closely with our sales and support teams to coordinate installations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers

Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges, offering creative solutions to ensure customer satisfaction

Conduct thorough quality checks of your installations to guarantee the functionality and aesthetics of the products

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment

About you

Valid Driver's licence

Experience in blind, awning and shutter installation is preferred but not essential

Strong building and/or handyman skills

Strong attention to detail and precision

Effective communication skills, especially in client interactions

Ability to read and interpret measurements and technical diagrams

Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting

Comfort with technology and the use of power tools used in the installation process

Commitment to safety protocols

Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights when necessary
