NSW Health's St George Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to join the Birth Centre and Delivery Suite on a Permanent Full Time or Part Time basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality midwifery care, upholding core NSW Health values and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centred outcomes.

The position offers competitive remuneration ($41.23 - $57.88 per hour plus Superannuation) and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and maintain professional boundaries.
• Basic computer skills and experience with health information systems.
• Knowledge of risk management, safety and quality principles in midwifery.
