Job summary

SAHMRI is seeking a Biostatistician for the ANZORRG reporting and analytics team in Adelaide. You will provide statistical support across registry data, research projects and external requests, using methods suited to complex health data and predominantly Stata.

You will work with biostatisticians, data intake and registry staff, contributing to quality improvement and publication outputs while meeting regulatory requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in statistics, biostatistics or related discipline.
• Experience analysing complex health data.
• Experience using statistical software, particularly Stata.
• Ability to interpret and communicate statistical findings clearly.
• Postgraduate research degree (Master/PhD) preferred.
• Experience with registry or health datasets is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical support for ANZORRG registries and related reporting.
• Perform analyses for research projects and quality improvement activities.
• Interpret and communicate statistical results clearly to diverse audiences.
• Support survival analyses, rates, and regression analyses.
• Contribute to reporting, publications and outputs while complying with policies.
