Job summary

Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action in Victoria is seeking a Strategy Implementation Project Officer to support delivery of the Biosecurity Strategy. The role involves planning, coordinating and implementing strategic projects, building stakeholder relationships and contributing to analysis and reporting to enable coordinated action.

The position is fixed term to 30 June 2028 with hybrid work arrangements and flexible work options within Victoria.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree, recognised qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience in project delivery, stakeholder engagement, governance support, strategy implementation or policy implementation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supports delivery of Victoria's Biosecurity Strategy and governance activities.
• Contributes to planning, coordination and implementation of strategic projects and initiatives.
• Develops stakeholder relationships and provides analysis and reporting to enable coordinated action.
• Assists communication and engagement activities across Victoria's biosecurity system.
