Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Biomedical Technician Advanced for Brisbane METRO. The role focuses on independent planning, scheduling, and delivering technical service for health technology equipment and networks.

You will support installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical delivery across clinical environments. The position requires expert maintenance and repair skills, strong data handling capabilities, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement, within a collaborative

The essential requirements for this role are;

• Proven ability to apply independent judgment and initiative to effectively plan, schedule, coordinate and carry out technical service delivery.
• Proven expert level of knowledge and skill in the maintenance / repair, installation, commissioning and technical support of health technology equipment and associated equipment and networks.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively to influence a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical staff, equipment suppliers, service providers, team members and managers.
• Proven ability to use information systems and software to manage, analyse and present data.
• Able to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
