Job summary

IDE is seeking a Product Developer to join our biomedical engineering team in Leichhardt, NSW. Working within multidisciplinary project teams, you will contribute to design, development and commercialisation of medical devices, collaborating with designers, electronics and software engineers, quality specialists and project leaders to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum one year experience in new product development or related engineering environment.
• Strong CAD skills with SolidWorks and/or Creo.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve biomedical devices through all stages of the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and regulatory standards.
• Conduct material selection, testing, and prototyping for medical technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and meet objectives.
• Plan activities and manage stakeholder expectations within timelines.
