Job summary

Australian Biotechnologies, based in Frenchs Forest, NSW, seeks a Product Development Engineer to design and develop advanced allograft solutions for orthopaedic and spinal surgery. You will manage complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver life-changing products.

You’ll apply design controls, risk management, biocompatibility, and regulatory compliance to ensure the highest quality and safety, advancing a fast-paced cycle from concept to reality within

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in BioMed, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in BioMed, FMCG, or Pharma framework preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Implement ISO 14971 and BS EN 62366 risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
• Perform tolerance analysis, CAD modeling, and inspect assemblies.
• Prepare technical docs, justifications, and regulatory submissions.
• Support cleanroom processing and manufacturing activities.
