Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Biology Masters graduates or current students to train and improve AI models in life sciences. You will design graduate-level biology questions, craft structured solutions, and evaluate AI responses to ensure accuracy and depth. Remote, hourly contract with flexible 10–40 hours per week.

This role invites specialists in biology, biochemistry, or biotechnology to contribute without requiring AI experience, offering high autonomy and potential ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Masters in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving across advanced biology domains.
• Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
• Comfortable providing structured, critical feedback.
• Self-motivated and reliable; you deliver quality work independently.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design graduate-level biology questions to rigorously test AI performance.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with well-structured scientific reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks for biology topics.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
