Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Biology Subject Matter Expert to evaluate and improve AI systems trained on scientific biology content. The role involves designing questions, crafting rigorous solutions, and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy and coherence.

This remote, hourly-contract position offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and an opportunity to influence AI understanding of biology from cellular mechanisms to biotechnology. No prior AI experience is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• Strong scientific reasoning and problem‑solving across advanced biology topics.
• Able to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging biology questions to test AI reasoning across topics from undergraduate to Masters level.
• Develop clear, rigorous step-by-step solutions demonstrating expert-level scientific thinking.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, logic, and scientific validity.
