Job summary

Connexus Recruitment Pty is assisting a Tier 1 global engineering firm build out a new Buildings division in Sydney. We are seeking a Building Services BIM Modeller with capability to model electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or fire systems.

Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required, sponsorship not available. The role focuses on buildings around large-scale infrastructure projects, offering a hybrid work arrangement and a flexible, performance-based culture that rewards merit

Qualifications

• Contribute to the Building Services BIM Modeller tasks within the Sydney office.

Having just secured one of Australia's largest defence packages, they have a secure pipeline of projects for the next decade. They are also involved in pretty much every transport project in Australia. If they aren't designing, they are reviewing. If they aren't reviewing, they are advising.

They are now building out a new Buildings division in their Sydney office. As part of this, they are looking for a Building Services BIM Modeller to join the team.

The focus will be on buildings. Think data centres, infrastructure, and the buildings that sit around that infrastructure. This includes a large-scale interstate infrastructure project, with a small amount of defence work in the mix.

They need someone who can model electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or fire systems. You don't need to know all of them. A strong specialism in one service is great. So is a solid generalist approach across all services.

You’ll need Australian industry experience and be confident coordinating models with engineers and other disciplines.

Candidates need to hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship. Sponsorship is not available for this role. Experience in the above sectors is preferred. If you don't have it, don't let that put you off reaching out!
