About Architectus

We design to make a positive and lasting impact on people, cities, and communities. We’re a multi-disciplinary practice with national reach and deep expertise, enabling us to achieve design excellence at scale.

Our 800+ architects, interior designers, landscape architects, urban planners, urban designers, digital experts, and wayfinding specialists collaborate across 13 studios in Australia and New Zealand, working on projects of every type and size. This makes us the largest, most versatile design practice in our region.

Through a thoughtful, integrated approach to design, we form genuine partnerships with our clients and collaborators to create meaningful and resilient places that endure.

About The Role

In this role, you will support the successful delivery of complex Aviation projects through hands-on BIM coordination, clash detection, model management, and digital delivery throughout the design phase. Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, you’ll coordinate design models, support project BIM requirements, and help ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of project information and deliverables. Strong Revit capability and experience managing design-phase coordination activities are essential, and an architectural background is preferred.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead BIM coordination for Aviation projects, including clash detection, multidisciplinary model coordination, consultant model exchanges, and digital handover deliverables.
  • Support project teams in applying BIM standards, workflows, and asset information requirements, including data capture and model setup within Revit.
  • Maintain and improve BIM quality and consistency through model reviews, coordination workshops, and resolving model-based design issues.
  • Provide Revit and BIM support, mentoring, and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM standards, templates, and digital delivery processes across the Aviation sector.
About You

You’re an experienced BIM and design delivery professional with strong technical skills, who enjoys coordinating complex, multidisciplinary projects and collaborating with diverse teams. You bring a balance of advanced Revit capability, practical project experience, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to every stage of the design process.

  • Degree-qualified in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building Design, or a related discipline, with 3-7 years’ experience in BIM coordination or design delivery roles
  • Advanced Revit skills, with experience leading BIM coordination and clash detection (Navisworks Manage or similar) on multidisciplinary projects
  • Strong understanding of consultant coordination, project delivery workflows, and (ideally) ISO 19650 information management and CDE processes
  • Experience contributing to BIM workflows, templates, or project standards, with an interest in asset information and project information management
  • Collaborative, organised, and detail-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement in digital delivery
Employee Benefits

With a focus on corporate social responsibility and environmental initiatives, you’ll appreciate our welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. Here’s some of what we offer our team:

  • Flexible work options including recuperation time and work from home days
  • Access to industry experts through our in-house mentoring program
  • Reimbursement of architecture registration fees
  • Generous paid parental leave: 16 weeks primary carers, 4 weeks secondary carers
  • $5,000 employee referral bonus and novated lease options for electric vehicles
  • Income protection insurance to cover part of your wage if you’re unable to work
  • Access to confidential counselling, wellbeing, legal and financial advice
  • Supportive and diverse workplace culture
