Job summary

Greater Western Water Limited is seeking three Billing Analysts on a fixed‑term basis to stabilise and optimise the Oracle CCS billing platform and related customer data processes.

You will lead analysis to resolve billing exceptions, support catch‑up billing, and collaborate with Product, Technology and Operations to implement sustainable fixes. Flexible work options include WFH with Footscray and Sunbury offices.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer systems and digital transformation.
• Strong change management capabilities.

• Experience in water industry or billing domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and remediation activities to resolve billing exceptions, unbilled accounts, and data integrity issues.
• Support the delivery of Catch-Up Billing and related remediation programs to ensure accurate and timely billing outcomes for customers.
• Contribute to compliance with the Enforceable Undertaking and Water Industry Standards by supporting billing quality assurance, controls, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Data and Operations teams to identify root causes of billing issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Provide analytical insight and operational support to ensure billing processes, controls and system configurations operate effectively.
• Assist in monitoring billing performance, risks and defects, ensuring issues are escalated and addressed through appropriate governance forums

The opportunity

3 x Billing Analysts - Fixed term until 30/6/2027

Provide subject matter expertise to support the stabilisation and optimisation of the Oracle CCS billing platform, and associated customer data, metering, billing and revenue assurance business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and remediation activities to resolve billing exceptions, unbilled accounts, and data integrity issues.
• Support the delivery of Catch‑Up Billing and related remediation programs to ensure accurate and timely billing outcomes for customers.
• Contribute to compliance with the Enforceable Undertaking and Water Industry Standards by supporting billing quality assurance, controls, and reporting activities.

Skills & Experience

• Digital Customer Systems - Experience in customer experience design, development and delivery of customer systems, tools and applications including digital transformation through digitisation of customer services and automation of business processes.
• Change management – Demonstrated ability in supporting high‑quality change adoption.
• Placing people at the centre of all change activities by improving the employee experience—good understanding of organisational change processes and experience with change management methodologies.
• Continuous improvement - The foresight to continuously improve our processes and services to build customer and stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement. Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver optimisation improvements
• Previous experience working in the water industry, and/or billing domain
