Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) in Adelaide seeks a Bilingual Technical Compliance Engineer to deliver regulatory compliance services for regulators, suppliers and internal teams. You will review technical documentation, maintain records and help develop technical procedures for multiple jurisdictions across Asia-Pacific.

This role requires strong Japanese and English communication, a degree in a technical field, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak Japanese and English sufficiently to perform the duties.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/CE or related technical field.
• Strong written communication for technical reports and business correspondence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Must write and analyze reports and business correspondence.
• Experience or interest in gaming/regulatory environments preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and regulatory compliance services to regulators, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Review documentation and submissions for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain regulatory and certification records for assigned jurisdictions.
• Develop and maintain procedural documentation, forms and test scripts.
• Prepare technical correspondence and regulatory communications.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of gaming products.
• Collaborate with colleagues on technical and compliance matters.
• Support review of certification reports and regulatory documentation.
• Keep up to date with technical standards, regulations and industry developments.
• Provide technical training/workshops to internal/external customers.
